The architectural design of the building is reminiscent of the red cliffs that overlook Red
Fleet Reservoir said Dan Rodgerson Execitive Director. The district according to
Rodgerson is happy with the architects and pleased with the progress. The architects,
Edwards & Daniels Architects, have selected stone for construction and decoration
that has been collected from, local quarries with design detail that reflect the Basin landscape.

Community Center Ammenities - Dan Rodgerson

Dan Rodgerson Said that the two gyms in the Center will be oversized to allow up
to 4 Jr. Basketball games. The indoor track will be located upstairs and will be partially open to allow views of the gyms, climbing features, and pool. The track will have the option of exiting via the stairs or a slide feature. If funds allow, there may be fitness equipment as well. Some of these features have been contested in the board meetings because local business owners, such as the Athletic Club, are concerned how they will affect their clientele.

Community Center Aquatic Center - Dan Rodgerson

Dan Rodgerson Stated that the board just recently approved the additional expense of two diving boards in the 6 lane pool; the law requires a 15 ft diving well for these boards which will increase cost. The new pool will probably include timing equipment for the swim teams.

The leisure pool will include a play feature, current channel, two slides (a speed slide and a
curved slide), and a two lane warm lap area.
